Treatment

Patients receive “hands-on” treatment to relieve pain and restore balanced function. This includes but is not limited to assisted stretching, massage, myofascial release, muscle facilitation, joint mobilization and adjustments.

A large part of the treatment includes teaching patients how they can heal faster and stay well through active care.

Active care includes:

  • learning proper movement patterns (sitting, standing, lifting and reaching)
  • modifying ergonomics in office and home environments
  • retraining sports-specific movements
  • stretching or strengthening key areas

Learning to help yourself through active care results in:

  • shortened recovery time
  • fewer office visits
  • patient empowerment
